Systematic Approach Top to Bottom, Clean to Dirty, Space to Space:
- Top to Bottom: Start cleaning higher surfaces and work downwards, allowing dust and debris to fall before cleaning lower areas and floors.
- Clean to Dirty: Begin with cleaner areas and progress to dirtier ones (e.g., in a bathroom, clean taps before the sink, and the sink before the toilet) to prevent cross-contamination.
- Space to Space: Complete one distinct area or room before moving to the next to ensure thoroughness and avoid transferring microorganisms
Proper Use of Equipment and Supplies:
- Use the correct cleaning products for specific surfaces and tasks.
- Follow manufacturer’s instructions for dilution ratios and application.
- Maintain cleaning equipment regularly and ensure it’s in good working order.
